A Very Likely Story Indeed

Southsea is the home of classic Victorian literature, in my honest opinion. You have Arthur Conan Doyle, the genius behind Sherlock Holmes and other such wonders, including The Lost World. You have Rudyard Kipling, creator of The Jungle Book. And you have Charles Dickens. Nope, never heard of him either. It is the very former of these great writers, Arthur Conan Doyle, who has chiefly inspired one of the more entertaining blogs on this world wide web, The Astonishing Adventures of Lord Likely, master sleuth and erotic adventurer.

A fine blog this is, full of witty puns, double entendres and exciting confrontations. Going strong now for over two years the tales of Likely have attracted a large following and it seems the Victorian gent is only getting started. I would advise anyone within typing distance to enter this jumble of letters and punctuation into their computer and behold the wonder that awaits them on the other side: www.lordlikely.com.

Of course, being the very selfish and self-centered individual I am, this endorsement only comes after I have created an equally astonishing advertisement for the site which can be found, oh I don't know, right here:

So sit back, fill your pipe, give the spying glass a rest and enjoy the diaries of Lord Likely, another addition to Southsea's Victorian literature heritage.

Many thanks for this, good sir - and for your marvellous moving-picture! Truly, 'tis a sight to behold!

Also, Mr. Holmes is barely worth mentioning in the the same sentence as my glorious self. I shall let it pass this once, however, for your sterling work.
